Casa Grande, AZ: bulky pickup, appliances & disposal
Find the collection provider, appointment requirements and separate handling for bulky household items.
Quick answer
Casa Grande collects uncontained household trash on a six-week, six-zone schedule. Alley-service residents do not need to book; curbside-service residents must request pickup by 3 p.m. Friday before their collection week. Set out by 6 a.m. Monday.
The 2026 City schedule limits normal piles to 10 cubic yards, with larger or out-of-zone special pickups charged $60 per half-hour. A resident may book a refrigerator or other Freon appliance separately; refrigerant handling costs $30 unless the City-accepted certified removal exemption applies.
Where to set out items and what is excluded
Alley-service households should place materials in the alley no earlier than the weekend before their zone week. Curbside households should request service using SeeClickFix or 520-421-8625 and follow the current City set-out window. Keep piles at least three feet from utilities and fixed objects. Do not include tires, hazardous waste, fluorescent lighting, heavy construction debris or unscheduled Freon appliances. The City may collect through Wednesday of the zone week.
Check the pickup route for your address
- Identify the account. Confirm the exact street address and whether you use a City contract, private hauler, property manager or HOA arrangement.
- Describe the materials. State how many sofas, mattresses, appliances, boxes or cubic yards need disposal, and ask if a separate collection is needed.
- Get setout instructions. Confirm whether a booking is required. Check the collection day, earliest setout, maximum weight or size, and any applicable charge before placing items outside.
What belongs in bulky pickup?
Verify whether the specific furniture item is part of a recurring curbside entitlement, a special booked stop, or a quoted haul-away service.
Ask whether the provider requires wrapping, a recycling appointment or a separate charge. Local bed-bug and mattress-recycling rules may apply.
Refrigerant-containing appliances and large metal goods can require special collection. Confirm safe preparation; do not release refrigerant yourself.
Do not add batteries, paint, chemicals or televisions to an unconfirmed pile. These may require a separate recycling or household hazardous-waste service.
Fees, facilities and exclusions
Never rely on the fee for ordinary cart service as the price for a bulky stop. Ask the responsible provider for any included annual allowance, per-item fee, minimum callout and charges for overweight loads.
If your item is excluded, ask about an authorized transfer station, reuse program or material-specific collection. Confirm public access, hours and accepted items before transporting it; a municipal recycling depot may not accept household furniture.
Before you leave it curbside
- Check your address is inside the service boundary, not simply the same postal city.
- Separate household furniture, appliances, building debris and chemicals.
- Keep sidewalks, drainage, mailboxes and access ramps clear.
- If an appointment is required, save the confirmation; otherwise verify the normal pickup day.
