Furniture, mattresses and appliances

Furniture, mattresses, washers, dryers, water heaters and stoves are listed as accepted. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners require professional Freon removal plus a decal from the certified facility. Hazardous waste, construction debris, tires, liquids and several other materials are prohibited.

03

Household hazardous waste and other special material

The City source clearly prohibits hazardous waste from the brush/bulky route but does not provide a sufficiently clear current residential HHW alternative on the same program page. Contact the City for the current route before transporting household chemicals.
