Lynnwood bulky pickup: choose your side of Highway 99
Lynnwood does not operate curbside trash collection. Two state-certified haulers split the city at Highway 99, so bulky-item booking and pricing depend on your exact address.
Quick answer
Lynnwood City says residents east of Highway 99 use WM (800-592-9995) and those west of Highway 99 use Republic Services (425-778-0188). Contact your assigned collector to request collection and a price for a mattress, sofa or appliance. There is no single City-wide free bulky pickup day or fee stated for every address.
What to do
- Step 1. Confirm you reside inside Lynnwood city limits, rather than merely using a Lynnwood mailing address.
- Step 2. Use the City’s official provider map and verify which side of Highway 99 and which certificated service area covers your home or HOA.
- Step 3. Call WM at 800-592-9995 or Republic at 425-778-0188 and list each bulky item; request current cost, collection timing and material-preparation rules.
- Step 4. Wait for confirmation before moving items to the curb. For self-haul, check Snohomish County transfer-station acceptance and updated 2026 charges.
What about my item?
Ask the assigned WM or Republic account representative about a special bulky-item appointment and cost.
Confirm refrigerant handling, equipment access and any extra appliance collection fee.
The City has separate recycling information and events. Do not assume ordinary bulky pickup accepts hazardous or electronic goods.
Service and payment are set through the property’s assigned collector/management; the City’s east–west map is the starting point.
Fees, dates and eligibility
Washington’s state-regulated service areas and hauler tariffs govern the collection; the City itself does not provide garbage pickup. Quote an exact property rather than using a neighboring city’s rates.
Before setting items outside
Verify your exact service address, accepted items and current fees with the City or authorized hauler. Collection policies and receiving-site availability can change.
