Quick answer

Pomona residential customers with trash service can request six bulky-item collections per household per calendar year at no charge, limited to one free request per bimonthly billing cycle.

Before you use the rule: Eligible Athens Services residential customers.

Furniture, mattresses and appliances

Each scheduled pickup may include up to four large items (two metal and two non-metal) plus up to ten qualifying bundles. Six requests per household per calendar year are provided at no charge, limited to one request per bimonthly billing cycle. The current City webpage is internally inconsistent on two operational details: its English fee section lists $112.71 for an additional same-cycle pickup while the Spanish section lists $25.00; one scheduling instruction says no later than 5 a.m. while a later FAQ says by 6 a.m. Schedule with Athens Services and follow the fee and set-out time confirmed for the appointment rather than relying on either conflicting value here.

03

Household hazardous waste and other special material

Household hazardous waste and e-waste use Pomona/Los Angeles County special collection options rather than ordinary bulky pickup.
