Louisville: arrange bulky trash through Republic Services
Louisville City contracts Republic Services for residential trash, recycling and compost. Its normal extra-bag tags are not bulky sofa or mattress rates.

What to do

- Step 2. Call Republic at 303-286-5400 and specify the furniture, mattress or appliance; ask about included bulk pickup entitlement and any extra charges.
- Step 3. Request a pickup date and instructions for the item rather than using the ordinary cart’s schedule as a guarantee.
- Step 4. If you have only ordinary overflow bagged rubbish, ask about the separate $4 bag tag on the City website instead of buying an unnecessary bulky service.
