01

Quick answer

Chandler’s bulky service requires a request. Residents can schedule online or by phone; the City advises allowing roughly seven to fourteen days when using the online scheduling tool.

Four curbside bulk pickups and/or qualifying trash visits share one annual allowance. Recycling-only and HHW visits do not consume it. Additional curbside pickups cost $43. The facility’s included trash load is listed as 0–400 pounds; heavier loads are charged by weight.

02

Furniture, mattresses and household bulky material

Furniture and other accepted large household items can go through the scheduled bulk route. Place them at the designated location only after you have a pickup date.

If you plan to self-haul instead, remember that transfer-station use draws from the same combined free-use count.

The bulk pile may be up to 4 feet wide × 4 feet high × 16 feet long. Set out no more than 24 hours early, within four feet of the front curb, and identify all items when booking. Call 480-782-3510 by 5 p.m. on the preceding business day to change or cancel; a failed set-out can consume an annual use.

03

Appliances, electronics, tires and hazardous items

Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and other coolant-bearing appliances incur $15 per unit. Electronics can be scheduled with the proper bulk stream. Tires and household hazardous waste are excluded from curbside bulk and use the facility’s separate programs.

Do not hide hazardous material inside a bulky pile.

04

Renovation debris and larger cleanouts

Construction debris can be excluded or charged differently from ordinary household bulk. Use an appropriate facility for heavy remodel waste.

For a large cleanout, compare the curbside and transfer-station options before consuming multiple annual uses.
