Before you use the rule: Rules depend on the hauler serving the property.

02

Furniture, mattresses and appliances

Contact the property’s licensed private trash hauler before setting out furniture, mattresses or appliances. Springfield’s City government does not publish one universal curbside bulky-item allowance, fee or pickup day that applies to every household.

03

Household hazardous waste and other special material

For household chemicals, the City operates the Household Chemical Collection Center at 1226 W. Nichols Street by appointment. Call 417-864-2000 before bringing accepted household chemicals. Other hard-to-dispose items may use City recycling facilities, the landfill or private processors depending on the item.
